  • Shipment and transaction information: pickup and delivery locations, load details, rate confirmations, bills of lading, proof of delivery, invoices, and payment details needed to bill or pay for services.
  • Carrier and driver information: authority and insurance documents, W-9, equipment details, and driver contact information used for dispatch and tracking.
  • Communications: records of calls, emails, and text messages with us, including your SMS opt-in and opt-out history.

2. How We Use Information

  • Quote, book, dispatch, track, and deliver shipments.
  • Communicate with shippers, carriers, and drivers about loads, schedules, documents, and payments.

  • Process invoices, payments, and Quick Pay requests.
  • Verify carrier authority, insurance, and safety compliance.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services:

  • Carriers, shippers, and receivers involved in a shipment, limited to what is needed to move that freight.
  • Service providers that support our operations, such as back-office, accounts payable/receivable, factoring and payment processors, communications platforms (including our SMS provider), load tracking, and IT hosting. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from Unit Move Logistics, we use your mobile number to send the messages described in our Terms and Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
